April 2026 Retreats

We are honored to have sponsored two Child Loss Retreats here locally in Utah this year, co-hosted with the Child Loss Foundation.

We had a wonderful chance to meet with fourteen mothers at our two child loss retreats in April.

"It was so therapeutic to come together as a community with a group of moms that understood my grief over the loss of my son." —Ann

Activities included kintsugi, yoga, sound baths, a cooking class,  and group and individual therapy, among other things.

"I have never attended [a child loss retreat] before and didn't know what to expect walking in. I was very quickly put at ease and had such a healing experience. Meeting other women who can understand my grief, who provided a safe space for openess and vulnerability and who offered open arms and support along with messages of hope." —Julie

Some of the best moments were things we couldn't plan for. During the second retreat we discovered a fox den with little fox cubs near the property. A favorite pastime became walking over to see the cubs peek their heads out of the den, look about, and even play.

Why a Child Loss Retreat?

Jenn, our founder, lost her son Beck to suicide in 2023. She had the opportunity to attend a Child Loss Retreat hosted by the Child Loss Foundation in Wisconsin. Jenn saw firsthand how important care and community were in dealing with the grief of losing a child. Since 2024, we've donated 1% of gross sales to the Child Loss Foundation. This year, we wanted to support our community through local child loss retreats.

It was beautiful to see mothers connecting with other mothers.

“Connecting with other moms on this grief journey helps me feel less alone . . . Even if we don’t say much, just being together is comforting. Sharing our stories and being around others who have children in heaven feels very special and deeply meaningful.” —Danielle

We are grateful to the Child Loss Foundation, who helped us put on these child loss retreats, and we look forward to sponsoring more in the future. We are also grateful to you. You're gifting love and comfort and supporting families who have experienced child loss.

What happens at a Child Loss Retreat?

The purpose of a child loss retreat is to provide a space for grieving parents to have space to grieve, relax, and find support. Guests choose to do as much or as little connecting with others as they prefer while there. Meals and activities are included in each stay.
